Private Pole Installation & Electrical Upgrade

Our team recently completed a comprehensive private pole installation, mains, and switchboard upgrade for a homeowner at The Entrance. The client was preparing for major home renovations, including a new split-system air conditioner and a future granny flat. 

To support these additions, an electrical system upgrade was essential.

We met the client onsite to discuss their renovation plans and assess the existing setup. This initial consultation allowed us to clearly understand their needs and provide an accurate, transparent quote.

Together, we decided to relocate the existing overhead mains from the front of the house to a new private pole. This not only ensured easier access during future renovation works but also improved the overall safety and functionality of the property’s electrical system.

The project was completed over two days:

• Day 1: Trenching and installation of the private pole, ensuring it was properly set for the follow-up visit.
  
  
• Day 2: Full switchboard upgrade. We replaced the old asbestos panel and outdated ceramic fuses with modern safety switches. A new smart meter was installed, along with upgraded 3-phase mains to future-proof the property for additional power needs.

Throughout the process, we maintained open communication with the client, keeping them informed about progress, costs, and temporary power interruptions.

The upgrade provided the homeowner with a safe, reliable, and future-ready electrical system, paving the way for their upcoming renovation and granny flat construction.
