Level 1 and Level 2 are accreditation levels in the NSW Government's Accredited Service Provider (ASP) scheme. Level 1 providers build the electricity network itself, such as street mains and substations. Level 2 providers connect individual properties to that network and work on the supply into them, such as the service line from the street, barge fuses and meters. Work from the switchboard in can be done by any licensed electrician. Impact Electrical is a licensed contractor with Level 2 accredited electricians, so we can take care of both.

You need a Level 2 electrician for any work on the power supply between the street and your meter. Common examples are a blown barge fuse that has cut power to the whole property, an Ausgrid defect notice, a new or replacement private power pole, a meter upgrade for solar, a pool or an EV charger, and upgrading to three-phase power. We also handle the Ausgrid applications and paperwork for you.
